ホテル名が示すようにジャングルのような雰囲気があり、ホテルにいながらにして野鳥観察ができる。セピロックのオランウータンリハビリ施設が隣接しているので、非常に豊かな森に囲まれている。野鳥で、ボルネオの野鳥で最も有名なブタゲモズも見られとのことである。今回は、残念ながら見ることはできなかった。個人で、早朝バードウォッチングやナイトウォークもできる。
