Place was fantastic, with a very good view and right next to Sepilok Orangutan Centre. I visited all the attractions there just by walking from the hotel and that was really convenient. Staff was kind and breakfast was really good, lots of different options.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary, Sepilok Jungle Resort is located within a tropical rainforest in Sandakan, Sabah. It features a restaurant.

The staff are outstanding. They offer massage services and the pool is a big plus to relax especially if spending 2 nights. Beds were comfortable and good WiFi connection

Very comfortable hotel, helpful and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Clean and warm pool! 2 good restaurants in the hotel! The hotel is a little bit tired, but everything is working and looks OK! I think it's the best place in Sandakan, if you wanna stay in the hotel, not in an apartment!

location and setting are perfect, the staff are friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was simple, just some eggs, halal sausage and toast with jam, but still nice. there’s a shuttle to the orangutan and rainforest. would love to have had an extra day there to relax

- Room was absolutely beautiful! Can’t remember seeing many / any photos of the inside when booking so was pleasantly surprised - Food at the restaurant delicious, couldn’t get enough of the breakfast rotis - 5 minute walk to the orangutan and sun bear centers which was ideal, the close proximity meant we were lucky enough to catch 4 sightings of orangutans on the property during our 3 night stay, including one mother and child on one of the walkways! Honestly an incredible experience and so much cooler seeing them from the comfort of a hammock than standing with the crowds at the orangutan center at feeding time All in all a perfect three days to round of our honeymoon in Borneo
