The location at the edge of the estate with it’s own garden and views over fields was very pleasant. The interior of the lodge was very nicely designed. Dinner was a highlight of our stay. The room was very comfortable although showing some signs of age. Beds were very comfortable, apartment was very clean. Rooms were tasteful, grounds were clean and tidy. Pool was big enough to relax, sauna was separated but didn’t try it. Dinner was superb and Roy was amazing to offer wine pairing but also discuss the menu with us. Breakfast had everything you need as well. Cycling is amazing around this area!
