FranceEverything!! It absolutely exceeded my expectations for a motel. The room was perfect and there was 5 of us. (3 Adults, 1 teen and 3yr old) The BEST sleep I've had in a very long time. Comfy soft beds with lots of warm bedding.
It literally has Everything you need.
The play area outside is so good for the kids.
The free spa was perfect.
The man running the place is lovely.
Can't fault it.

We could walk to a lovely (and very yummy) coffee shop each morning and a fun brew pub at night. There were other restaurants on the street, but one was having a private party and another was fully booked. If you’re looking for super luxury travel vibe, it’s very hard to find in this area, my friend who is a pretty posh gal was a bit worried. The rooms are spacious and cosy and our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The house is a beautiful and unique place to stay and makes an excellent base to explore Matamata and the surrounding areas, or even just enjoy some down time on a busy trip. We had a 2 bedroom unit which was incredibly clean and spacious. Whilst we did not use the kitchen facilities it had everything a family would need including a really good sized dining table.
