it is definitly bigger than all the other accomodations we have slept at in Réunion. It has more of a hotel-feeling. But the overall vibe was really nice and relaxed. The room was good and clean. The food was excellent and all staff members were extremely friendly! We used it as a base to do hikes in the area.

The room was beautiful, the bathroom very new and the balcony was stunning! Breakfast was easy but very good. I asked for late checkout and an airport transfer during my booking on booking.com and during the checkin they knew my wish and I did not need to notice it again. Worth the price. I am super happy with my stay!

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is amazing: cozy, friendly, comfortable. Breakfast was a perfect start of the day: delicious and accompanied by a nice chat with the chef. Really nice experience to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant, serving gourmand fondue and raclette. The lift in the hotel was also very convenient to use with our luggage.

we were fortunate enough to get two free upgrades so we were all in superior rooms( 3 bookings). The rooms were wonderful with great snacks, chocolates each night and a wonderful dinner and breakfast. we stayed for two nights and each night the dinner was the same, which is of course understandable but perhaps not so great if you are staying a long time. With the difficult drive up to the lodge, you don't really want to eat out at night, so prepare to eat dinner there as well. the tasting menu is 95 euro pp.
