Breakfast was varied and very tasty, with a different homemade cake each day. There was a wide selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and pastries. There is a dining room on site where you can sit in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea at no extra charge. The view from the room was simply breathtaking — the lake in all its glory, visible both from the window and from the huge balcony outside the room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh, and there were also high-quality, pleasant soaps provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and even helped us with local discounts. Don’t forget to ask for a guest card to get a discount on the Dachstein cable car.

Located in the World Heritage town of Hallstatt, Pension Hirlatz is just a 20-minute walk from the centre and Lake Hallstatt. Hiking and mountain bike trails start right outside. 冬場だったのでハルシュタットの船着場からは徒歩20分歩く必要がありましたが、観光客がいない静かな森と小川のほとりで、ロケーションが最高でした。 内装もホッとくつろげるような落ち着く雰囲気で、猫ちゃんたちも可愛かったです。 朝ごはんはシンプルながらも品目が多く、十分な満足度で嬉しかったです。
