In old town Gruyère, very close to the castle and the bus stop that goes to and from the train station. The staff is exceptional and the hotel atmosphere takes you back to a less hurried time. We enjoyed our meals and the evening fire in the common sitting room. We highly recommend it.

De Ville is a charming hotel situated in a picturesque medieval village with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It features free Wi-Fi and fine dining with renowned regional specialities.... I loved everything about my room: the furnitures, the bathroom and the wonderful view. The staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant was also good. I came to Gruyères to visit the H. R. Giger Museum and bar. The hotel is centrally located, only a few steps from the Museum. It was perfect for me. Highly recommended.
