Built in 1715 the Auberge de Mouton is located in the heart of the historic old town of Porrentruy. I liked the way that elements of the original structure have been maintained with the addition of modern but tasteful amenities. The breakfast was wonderful - I enjoyed the homemade granola and fruit compote immensely.

The cleanliness; the huge comfortable well bedroom with excellent linen and good quality towels. The warm, friendly staff; the location right by the old town! A lot of people have criticised the buffet beeakfast and decor, but the buffet breakfast is constantly refreshed during the service and the receptionist is right next door if anything runs out or if any clients need a hand. No one need fear going hungry! The decor is a little somber, but well maintained and spotlessly clean!
