Room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view down to the town and the lake. Delicious breakfast in a charming room, with plenty of choice, including homemade jams and pancakes, with eggs made fresh to order. Water, tea, syrups, biscuits and fruit available for free at any time (also coffee and alcoholic drinks to be paid for at checkout). Bed was comfortable . Very good value for Switzerland.

There are also exceptional restaurants, including "La Brezza", which has been awarded two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points. The gourmet restaurant is closed in Ascona in winter, but is open in the Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa during the winter season. What is there to not like about this hotel. So beautiful, staff is great, the spa was amazing. Ascona was for us a wonderful unexpected gem.

This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

All rooms in the main building have a balcony offering panoramic lake views. we had a great experience during our stay the room was amazing with a very nice view, all the staff was very friendly made us feel home ( our regards specially to Stephanie), me and my wife definitely will choose it again when we visit Ascona
