Offering a terrace, Cabañas Vasconia is set in Castro. Free WiFi is offered . The accommodation has a TV with cable channels. Some units include a terrace and/or patio with sea views. It was a cozy little bungalow away from town and the noise of Castro. Close to the water so we could go for walks along the shore. Manuel, our host was very nice too. He went out of his way to help us including organising a lift to the bus station very early on our day of departure.

An outdoor swimming pool, a sauna room and gym facilities can be enjoyed at Hotel de Castro. There are comfortable common areas, Wi-Fi is free and the town’s main square is 200 metres from the hotel. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was lovely since the beginning, the room was cozy and warm, the food at the restaurant was delicious and always available, and it was great to have facilities like sauna and swimming pool after a long day out. (Breakfast was delicious too). The internet was fast and available from all the places of the hotel, which is great for people who travel for work. The location was more than excellent, having the main places very close, like Castro Cathedral, many cafes and restaurants, crafts fair, and the coast.

It was great staying at one of the famous palafitos in Castro - everything was perfect. Top front row to the river, well equipment, clean, a lot of space, beautiful bathroom, TV with Netflix etc., not far away from center, nice and helpful staff (also speaking English).
