This hotel is located within a reserve with hiking trails and gardens where you can see hummingbirds and many other species. The guided hikes were also excellent. The rooms were comfortable. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

So much greenery inside the hotel which is beautiful. Breakfast was impeccable but didn’t get to try lunch or dinner due to short stay.

Apartotel La Sabana is located 1.5 km from central San José and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, breakfast included with the rate and an outdoor pool. The hotel is lovingly furnished, there are for example beautiful plants in the pool area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also liked the breakfast with the different options. The room was very clean and the bed cosy. The location of the hotel is nice, because it is next to the large park.
