Beautiful hotel by the harbor with a great tapas restaurant. It’s also a lovely spot for drinks with good music and a great vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our two-year-old had a wonderful time as well. The staff is especially kind to children. The hotel smells amazing and is beautifully decorated. We had a room with a view of the water, which was just stunning. You can also book yoga in the morning, which we unfortunately didn’t get to try, but it’s a nice option! We would love to return.

All rooms at Schwarzwaldhotel Sonne include a TV and private bathroom with shower. Beautifully designed property. Rooms are nicely decorated, small apartment rooms are perfect for families. Breakfast is the absolute best- best breakfast I’ve had in all of Europe! Everything is homemade and you can tell, it’s excellent. I came back a year and a half later just for the breakfast!

I like to be at the lower ground as it has direct access to the garden. Parking space is available. The nearest public transportation is the regional train about 2 to 3 km away.
