Car charging facilities worked well (after we figured out you had to insert the cable at an angle and then twist the whole thing to plug in-had never seen that before but seems common in Europe).

Set in the Swabian countryside, the Landhaus Engel in Erlaheim combines a modern design with country house décor. A sun terrace and free WiFi are also included. All the rooms were the perfect mix of traditional charm and modern comfort. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was absolutely exceptional. Dishes were prepared with ingredients from the area. There’s also a beautiful garden in the back, where we had some of our meals. You can hike by just stepping out of the door, since the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. This was a great find!

Between the towns of Gruibingen and Weilheim, this hotel lies on the hill, Boßler, in the Swabian Alb low mountain range and boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding picturesque countryside. The hotel was in a countryside, very calm. The staff was very friendly. We had a very good dinner, they served big portions. Beds were very comfortable, the room was clean. The location of the hotel was also very good. We spent 1 night, but I can imagine more. The garden is really nice.
