Great place we had a few issues finding it as its off a side road. All in All a very good stay Bernard was great and we paid the extra for Breakfast which again was very good just continental at 10 euros each a little expensive but you are in the middle of the desert so glad we took up the offer. room rooms are great beds comfy and air condition and wifi all worked well. we had a large room with outside Terrace which was great.

Set in the small white-washed fishing village on the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Family Agua Amarga offers an outdoor swimming pool, solarium and free private parking on site. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and the meals were divine 😍 ! We had supper as well as the breakfast and both were so delicious and very copious 😋 ! Definitely worth the visit !

Offering views of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains, Boutique Hotel El Olivar is set in the historic town of Mojacar, in front of the Arbollón Square. The beach is 5 minutes’ drive away. We had a very nice two day stay at the lovely Boutique Hotel El Oliver, a quaint and well run, family owned boutique hotel in old town Mojacar, with it's cobblestone streets and old town charm. The hotel owners (Alberto and Miki) are a delightful, hard-working young couple who clearly take pride in providing their guests a comfortable stay. The personalized rooftop breakfast was delicious, with poached eggs, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as many other options. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Our room had a balcony and, additionally, there is a rooftop patio with great views and an "honesty" bar. The location within the old town was perfect with easy access to the many restaurants and shops. For those who struggle with being at the beach or in quaint "old town", not to worry, as beach access is a pleasant 20 minute downhill walk OR you can catch the local bus for just over a Euro. My wife and I are in our 70's and the walk to the beach was an easy, pleasant walk and there are three buses per hour to return to old town. We arrived on motorcycles and were provided secure, underground parking under the hotel for a nominal charge. We will definitely return to Hotel El Oliver, next time we are visiting the area.

Located in the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Las Olas is just 200 metres from the beach in San José de Níjar. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi and a balcony or terrace. Great apartment. Close to everything. We parked right out front. There is also more parking in the garage, but we were there in low season. There are some stairs involved. Nothing critical at all, but might be a problem for the elderly or mobile impaired.

Set in the beautiful Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Hotel Senderos is located 3 minutes’ walk from Agua Amarga Beach. It features an indoor swimming pool and a sun terrace. The hotel is excellent. It’s very modern and very clean. The rooms are really impressive. Large and very nice furnishings. The facilities were exceptional for a relatively small hotel. Breakfast was very good. The staff were really happy and helpful.

Cortijo de la Media Luna is set in gardens, 5 minutes’ drive from Mojácar centre and the beach. It offers a sun terrace and free WiFi. The house, the ambiance and Lourdes!
