Very kind husband and wife team who helped me with travel arrangements, willingly spoke English and were considerate in all respects. Beautiful breakfast. Highly recommended despite not being right in the centre.

Rooms at the Solana are comfortable and bright. They have an en suite bathroom, heating and a TV. The hotel has a café-bar, serving fresh local produce for breakfast. There are also gardens, a terrace and a children’s play area. Best "budget" room we've stayed in in Spain. Massive bathroom.

The bright, air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Real have satellite TV and some offer sea views. The large bathrooms come with a bathrobe and hairdryer. We got a good deal for a night and was really special. We usually couldn't afford such a place. When we entered our room and saw the view overlooking the bay it was breathtaking. Stunning experience.

They feel like family right away. We loved our stay so much that we extended it. The place is beautiful, well kept, clean, nice garden with an orchard (Julian makes his own cider!) and the location is perfect. Our room was big with a beautiful view to Los Picos and the ocean. Our bed was big and very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The path to the beach is right across the property. Beautiful walks and sunsets. Highly recommended. We are definitely coming back!

We have stayed here three or four times. The place is ideal for the ferry about half an hours direct run. There is always a warm welcome. It is set in the most beautiful Cantabrian village. The place is great for rides out to numerous locations including beaches and more historic places. We will be back.
