Split between a converted building and some modern cubes, Consolación offers rooms with large windows and designer details. Many of the rooms have sunken slate baths, while others have Alvar Aalto furniture. Most have private terraces. The place is beautiful, the linnens are super white and the bed comfy and very clean, the food was delicious, Gloria (the owner is super attentive and gave us a “coca de llanda” as a farewell treat. The slippers they give you for your stay is a very nice touch. If you go more than two days is better to take advantage of the facilities bc we hardly had time to hang out in the library or the games room.

All rooms have an attractive bathroom with a shower. There are lovely wood ceilings and stone walls.

The Cresol has a library where guests can relax. Public areas have modern, attractive décor. The hotel is non-smoking. Everything was wonderful. Beautifully presented. So much thought put into the presentation of the whole hotel.

All of the rooms have views of the town's main square and the surrounding countryside. All are soundproofed and have air conditioning and flat-screen TV. They also have a private bathroom and a balcony. They feature classic furniture, stone walls and wooden beams and an unique décor. We had a great stay at hotel Sitjar. Rustic spacious rooms and very clean. The balcony in our room had a beautiful view. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent and a good value . The tables on front of the hotel were a plus, we had drinks and got to meet some of the locals. All in all a great place to stay when visiting Calaceite.
