The breakfast is good, there is ample parking, it's dog friendly, and it's only a short drive away from the lovely Troyes - details that made our stay in in these stunning surroundings very enjoyable.

Bathroom was also quite large with tub, shower and separate WC. Ample, standard French breakfast with bread, croissant, jam, yogurt, cheese etc. Host was great about providing restaurant suggestions. We had a delicious classic French meal helped a bit by name dropping our host's name when we arrived at the restaurant without a reservation. [it was a weeknight in October and the restaurant was not crowded]. Just a note to those arriving at the guest house, our mapping program brought us to the back of the property. The entrance is on the canal side. We found after a few minutes of thought.
