With free Wi-Fi, this guest house is close to the town centre and just 2 minutes’ walk from the Shanklin Chine. Helen and David were so kind and helpful. A wonderful visit and so much fun.

Set in attractive gardens, The Havelock offers a Mediterranean-style pool and en suite rooms, some have a sea view. There is some free private parking, and the seafront is close by.

The bar serves hot beverages throughout the day, and snacks are available. There is an outdoor terrace with seating, and the secluded swimming pool is open from mid May to mid September. Convenient location for the village and the chine, and the road was quiet.

The owners (Pete and Warren) think about the guests, and I could see that in everything - the house, room, services, and breakfast. They were very caring, friendly, and kind and made me feel at home. My dog was very excited and noisy in the breakfast room, had a toilet accident, and got sick, but they were very understanding. Not many places allow dogs in the eating area, so it was nice. The room was super clean and comfortable, I definitely come back for my next visit to IoW!
