Loved the room on the top floor, and location was great.,, Also it’s atmosphere.. made you feel welcome when you walked in!!

Palm Court features afternoon tea and the Bar Prince serves innovative cocktails in a relaxed setting, while the SCOTCH offers over 500 varieties of Scottish Whisky. Most of my life decisions were made in this hotel. From choosing what Uni I went to and my husband proposing to me here so it holds a lot of good memories . I even decided to apply for a job whilst taking High tea here! I love the facilities, and the view from our room was breathtaking. The service is impeccable ! Worth every penny ! We will be back for many years to come.

It is situated on the West End of Princes Street, with views of Edinburgh Castle. Amazing location, can get to any of the big spots within ten minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind! The attached restaurant was delicious!

The Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet residential area, just off Dalkeith Road, a major route into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride. Hosts were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Loved home made breakfast every day, fresh and delicious. Neighbourhood is quiet and not too far from the city. The whole stay felt like home stay with family and friends rather than just a stay. Loved the whole experience and ambience.

The bed was comfortable, and Room 6 faced away from the main road, which made it quieter.

Lovely hosts - it was wonderful to connect with some locals.
