The 3-star Normanton Park Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is situated in the picturesque county of Rutland, offering magnificent views of Rutland Water from the hotel and grounds. The evening was absolutely lovely. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Amazing view across Rutland Water. A highly recommended stay.

Stunning views overlooking Rutland Water are offered at The Finch’s Arms, a 17th-century country inn in the pretty village of Hambleton. Had dinner there, it was excellent, service was great. Room was comfortable and ensuite very modern and efficient. Breakfast was superb.

Located in the town centre of Oakham, the The George Inn is 1.5 miles from Rutland Water. The area is popular for sailing, trout fishing, bird watching and cycling. The whole atmosphere was just wonderful the whole way through the hotel. It’s beautiful decor, welcoming and comfortable.
