The Celyn is a country house that has been rustically furnished for a comfortable countryside stay. The building boasts oak beams and traditional wood burning stoves, and has a lounge for relaxing after a day spent walking in the peaks. Very warm welcome from Sarah. Such e lovely place in the beautiful countryside! The room was very clean, comfortable bed and everything you need was there. Delicious breakfast. Nearby - 5min - we visited the oldest and most beautiful church of Wales!

The house itself was lovely, comfortable and welcoming. Our room was exceptional, every detail well thought out! The main sitting room spacious. The restaurant area was welcome. Breakfast was lovely, portions excellent….their apricot/ prune fruit mixture yummy! Only wish the restaurant had been open that night. Another time I would ensure to be there to try their restaurant.

Great location, close to restaurants. Easy self check-in. Comfy bed and pillows. Room very well equipped with microwave, fridge, hair dryer, toiletries… Best surprise was breakfast in the fridge. We had a lovely breakfast left for us which included croissants, cappuccino mix, muesli, yogurt, cheese, smoked salmon orange juice, etc. It was really, really thoughtful and even more special than just going to a breakfast room. Highly recommend.
