Evita is a wonderful host, very keen to help with everything from restaurant and beach recommendations to arranging luggage transport to and from Hydra port. The rooms are immaculately clean and well equipped (fridge, induction hob, glasses, plates, Nespresso coffee machine, cutlery and even a corkscrew! Evita and Maria’s care and attention to detail make the Athina Guesthouse a very special place. Fresh towels every day, new tea, coffee and breakfast supplies. Five stars +! We got back to Athens today, and we’re already planning our next stay at the Athina. It’s a lovely, lovely place.

Centrally located in Hydra Town and just 100 metres from the port, the traditionally built Guesthouse Alexandra features stone-built walls, iron beds and beamed ceilings. Free WiFi is available in public areas. It was perfectly clean smelling soap ☺️

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. We forgot a bag on the boat with our passport and he helped us to get it back. He saved our life! He also made our room birthday proof. I turned 30 and there were flowers and a bottle of cava. Best host ever.

Only 120 metres from Hydra Port, Alkionides Hydra is situated in a stone-paved courtyard with flowers. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Some units come with a kitchenette.

All rooms and studios open to a patio with garden view. Some also include a terrace overlooking the scenic Hydra Town. Featuring tiled floors and modern furnishing, each unit has a flat-screen TV and fridge. A kettle along with tea-and-coffee-making facilities is provided. Ingredients including jam, honey, juice and biscuits are also provided so that guests can prepare their breakfast themselves. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Alkionides to everybody looking for a stay in Hydra! We enjoyed the beautiful yard, the cozy beds, the cleaning-service everyday, the aircondition, the well styled-room and the central location!

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. Everything is very nice and comfortable

Offering massage services and city view, Piteoussa is situated in Hydra, less than 1 km from Avlaki Beach and a 6-minute walk from Hydra Port. Featuring mountain and garden views, this guest house also comes with free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange airport transfers. The hotel was just a 7-minute walk from the main harbor where we arrived from Athens. We got there way too early before check-in, but the staff greeted us warmly and the host went out of their way to find us an available room - something that doesn't happen often. The room was spacious and clean with a walk-in shower and lovely aesthetic touches. We had everything we needed, the area was peaceful with several good restaurants nearby. It was a really great place to stay, and I have only positive memories of our time there.

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. Friendly Staff, good breakfast, lovely garden

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. A buffet breakfast enriched with local products is served daily. Free WiFi is provided. Great location, close to the port and a little off the most crowded places. Very comfortable beds and spacious balcony. Tasty breakfast and extremely helpful staff! Thank you for amazing hospitality!

Mistral Hotel offers the ideal sanctuary for rest and relaxation in between sightseeing and hiking around Hydra. The main attractions of Hydra are within easy walking distance of this refined guest house. On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. Angelica’s romantic rooms retain a delightful note of old-fashioned charm and luxury. They are all air conditioned, and include satellite TV, safe and marbled bathroom with a complete set of Korres cosmetics. The hotel decor is exquisite. The breakfast in the lovely garden area was fabulous, as was the very friendly and helpful owners and employees.
