A buffet breakfast is served at the breakfast room and terrace of the main building. We loved the room with sea view and balcony. Magnificent view, wow 🤩 The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Freshly squeezed orange juice was great. Strongly recommend to sleep on the island in autumn. The views are amazing. Go to the top of the rock and wander around. Hike the Monemvasia loop to the lighthouse and around the island (not for kids).

Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. Combining modern and traditional elements, its accommodation provides Aegean Sea views. We (a family with two teenagers) had an excellent stay. The hotel is located in the old town but set back just a few dozen meters from the restaurants, ensuring peace and quiet. The two-bedroom suite is very well designed, tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and an excellent bathroom. Very good Wi-Fi. Pleasant terrace (even though ours did not have a sea view). The breakfast is fabulous – compliments to the chef!

Free WiFi is available in all areas. Very spacious hotel, different from most in Greece. It felt like being in a museum or a palace. Super elegant and comfortable, the room and balcony very big too. You know when you look at pictures and room seems bigger than it is, in this case everything is bigger than it looks, A bottle of red wine waiting in the room that you can envoy on the balcony, nice touch. Beautifull gardens, big pool, pool towels available. Staff VERY VERY nice, the receptionist handed me an anti-mosquito spray when I wondered if there were any. Superb breakfast, lots of options, freshly squeezed orange juice.
