From start to finish, the stay at Margado was beyond our expectations. The owner team (husband, wife, and adult daughter) found the perfect balance of professionalism and familiarity. I felt like a valued client but also a warmly welcomed friend. They treated us with sincere kindness, as though we were new friends visiting in their own home. The facilities were flawlessly clean and beautiful, and the location, perched above the port town overlooking the harbor, was stunning. We loved the vigorous walk up and down the hill to the shops and restaurants. The food served for breakfast was varied and delicious. The owners had two sweet, clean, and calm dogs and an entertaining parrot.

Offering rooms with a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea or the village, Benaki Hotel is located on the beachfront of Platis Gialos in Sifnos. A snack bar and sun terrace are included. The loveliest people! Nothing was any trouble - they lent us wine glasses, smiled and waved each time they saw us. Excellent breakfast. Great location. We would love to go back some day.
