Our favorite place when staying in Tuktuk. The rooms are clean and provide everything that's needed. The Batak Bungalow, with its bigger room size and the balcony, gives us, as a family, some extra space, so a rainy day isn't a problem. The highlight were the kayaks, which can be used for free. We made some great paddling explorations around the peninsula by tuktuk. And not to forget, they serve delicious cakes. 😍

We loved our stay at Junia Guesthouse! We went on the 3 day jungle trek and got to see orangutans up close! We stayed one night at the guesthouse before and after our trek. The bungalow was nice, the food great and the staff very friendly. Furthermore Bukit Lawang is a beautiful town located just by the river.1

We felt at home and we felt cared for from the second we stepped out of the car to the second we left the premises. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We had some issues with the water temperature in the shower and not only did they change our room, they sent us cakes and a handwritten note. Especially Lucy, the asst manager, was a dream to deal with, and understands world class hospitality.
