At Oldairline Guesthouse, relaxation options include a communal living room, garden and terrace. Communication with the host was excellent - we knew exactly how to get our key and check in. Loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer! Lots of amenities in the kitchen so we could make our own food, and two large areas to sit and eat. The couch and chairs in the sitting area were very comfortable. Room was good, and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend!

Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. Located at the foot of mountains, you can enjoy the impressive view from the room or go hiking for a closer look. The farm house is well located in a beautiful valley just off the ring road, Stefan and his dog greeted us nicely upon arrival, The rooms are nice, comfortable and cozy, the showers are great, kitchen is well equipped and fun to use, you can make do with the other guests, there's a nice yard where you can sit and have an evening beer in front of the amazing view. Travelling as a family with children we were a bit afraid of staying in a place with shared facilities but it was really fine and even a good experience for us all.

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. From Laugarfell you have access to many hiking trails and you are close to the road leading to Askja. Laugarfell is accessible for all types of vehicles. Amazing location and great dinner and breakfast! The hot pools were so nice!

We stayed here for two nights. The view of the mountains with a waterfall was absolutely beautiful and made the stay extra special. The room was cozy, well-furnished, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. There was also a separate shared kitchen which was very convenient for preparing breakfast.
