Located by the harbour in Höfn village, Oldairline Guesthouse offers a shared kitchen/lounge, plus free WiFi and parking. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is a 1-hour drive away. The place is beautiful, fully equipped, with a good coffee machine, and the owner is very kind and helpfull ! Furthermore the guesthouse is in the center of Hofn and 50m from the sea. Strongly recommended !

Höfn is 28.5 km away from the property and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is 51 km... スタッフの対応がとても良かった。もちろん全員ではないが私に対応してくれた三人のうち二人は最高だった。一人は普通。ホテルの写真と同じようにオーロラが見れた。アイスランドに４泊したが、天気も悪くまたアイスランドにオーロラが殆ど発生しなかった。リルハが最後の夜だったがオーロラも発生し雲もほほ無くなったので見ることができた。あの光景は一生忘れない。

We ended up getting stranded for a few days due to weather-related road closures and the staff went above and beyond to help us get a room, plan our unexpected extended stay, and understand the road closure process in Iceland. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. 新しい建物のようできれいで清潔だった。部屋も広めで余裕があり、とくにウェットスペースは一部屋あるくらい広かった。シャワーの周りには特に仕切りも無く、ビチャビチャになってしまう。が、広いためモップで水を掃き出すようになっていた。 共用スペースも広く、コーヒーメーカー、電気ポット、電子レンジがあった。 宿の周辺には建物もほとんど無く、朝は清々しく気持ちが良かった。

Located by the harbour in Höfn, this property is surrounded by Hornafjördur’s outdoor activity possibilities. Guests can enjoy mountaineering, snowmobile glacier trips and ice climbing in the area. I liked everything about this hotel: location, view from the window, atmosphere. I was surpirised, that there was big flat TV in the room, though it was not on booking.com photos and was not mentioned in room ameneties. I liked a lot lime shower gel :)

This family-run guesthouse is set on a working farm, 30 km from Höfn in south-eastern Iceland. It offers a common room with free WiFi, along homemade ice cream from their dairy farm. We stayed at Brunnholl Country Guesthouse during our trip to Iceland and were absolutely charmed by this original place! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere along the Ring Road, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, with a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The food was a delightful surprise—delicious, hearty, and made with care, making us feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, and the glacier views are simply breathtaking. If we could have, we’d have stayed a few more days to soak in more of this hidden gem. Highly recommended!
