The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with modern touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail — everything from the high-quality toiletries to the luxurious linens. Breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to key attractions and shops. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I can’t say enough about the level of service at the Castle. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, and they made me feel right at home. The attention to detail, comfort, and overall experience made my stay truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had privacy but were easily able to access everything we wanted to experience. The views were incredible and we saw the Northern Lights from the deck!

It was quiet, cozy and comfy and the best place we have stayed in Iceland I definitely recommend to anyone who will be visiting. The breakfast was also so beautifully laid out.

This is the NICEST “hostel” properties I’ve ever stayed at in all my travels!! Every detail is perfect! Exquisitely clean, well equipped, laundry, wonderful breakfast, plentiful WC ratio per guest, two kitchenettes, comfy beds, and excellent views!! My only regret is that I could not stay longer!

Private bathrooms are featured in the bright, basic rooms at Country Hotel Heydalur. You enter each room from the outside. Very nice place! Great room, very comfortable beds! There is also a nice restaurant at the place with great food. Loved the greenhouse with the swimming pool. A big plus, the two dogs and the parrot that are at the place ❤

Dating back to 1828, this family-run farm in West Iceland offers bright rooms with country-style décor. Facilities include a guest kitchen, TV lounge and terrace with outdoor hot tub. Hraunfossar’s waterfalls are 15 km away. Very peaceful and a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. I only stayed one night and was alone, but I would certainly visit again with my family. Everything was great. Very quiet; I had a beautiful view from the room window and was able to see faint Northern Lights. The kitchen and common areas were exactly as pictured and very handy; the bathroom was spotless. It was a clear night and great for stargazing in the hot tub on the deck at night. Very close to Hraunfossar. I would love to come back here. Hosts were very responsive.
