These are modest, minimalist cottages located inside a national nature reserve — the only real alternative to staying at a chain hotel on the Dead Sea. The cottages are very basic, but they offer something rare: the chance to sit and listen to the sound of the sea, or take an outdoor shower with a sea view. There is access to the sea — not exactly a traditional beach, but you can swim, and there’s fresh water available to rinse off afterwards. Dinner and breakfast were perfectly decent, but the real highlight is the tranquility, privacy, and connection to nature. The best cottages are those with one double and one single bed — they’re farthest from reception, offering the most space and the most seclusion.

The luxurious rooms at the Spa Hotel are bright and airy. They have a balcony and a seating area equipped with couches and satellite TV. The private bathrooms include signature amenities. We were really happy with the room, it had a spectacular sea view!! The food was awesome and the staff is really friendly and helpful. There is a path to the sea so you don’t even have to go outside the hotel to swim into the Dead Sea. The sunsets that we’ve seen over there are priceless.
