Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and free parking is available on site. Japanese-style massage can be arranged at a fee. All in all probably the best place we were in while traveling in Japan. You get yukata to walk around, very peaceful environment in the middle of the mountains, super friendly staff, room was spacious and clean. We had breakfast + dinner combo, which was typical Kaiseki with many different things. Just be prepared - it's A LOT of food (both). We skipped lunch while we stayed there. We tried one of the private onsen which was one of the best we tried. Room had a toilet but no bathroom, so you shower in the public onsen (typical of Ryokan w/ onsen for the unware). There's a Lawson super close, which is handy.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and Japanese/English-speaking concierge service is available. Senso-ji Temple is a 3-minute walk away. The hotel is located right in the old quarter, about a 5-minute walk from Sensō-ji Temple and the entire market, so you can enjoy an evening and early morning visit to the temple without the tourists. There are restaurants directly in front of the hotel and a metro station is about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel apartments are very clean and the facilities are great, the kitchen has everything you need (large fridge, microwave, etc.), there is also a washer and dryer and we were given laundry detergent by the staff. Cleaning is done every day, if you don't care about it, you can just change clean towels and arrange at the reception when you want to clean the room. Although the hotel is located right in the heart of Asakusa, which is the destination of most tourists, it is completely quiet in the evenings. I really enjoyed my stay here and would love to come back again.

Brilliantly relaxing setting, very comfortable and cosy rooms and the onsen was amazing. I opted for the Japanese dinner which was such an unique experience with delicious food. Welcome drink service was a lovely surprise too! Conveniently bus stops are 5 minute walk from the resort, so moving around is easy even without car. I have already recommended this resort to many of my friends who are looking to visit the area!
Great location with a lovely temple very close by and a few metro stations with great connections. On top of that, the onsen was an amazing way to relax after a long day of sightseeing!
A real treat to get out of the city for a few days and hill out and relax. Lovely to have a pool and the Onsen. Staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble.
Free flow soft drink for 24 hours is excellent and additional alcoholic beverage from 17:00-0:00 make it more score. Rice with curry for breakfast is good. Jacuzzi in artificial onsen made more relax. Very near to Shimbashi station.
The location and ryokan itself were incredible. We stayed in the Luxury Suite with Open Air bath and it was stunningly beautiful. All staff were lovely and very helpful and the dinner and breakfasts were delicious. It was such a treat having two separate private onsens (one in the bathroom and one on the deck). The onsen on the deck has a spectacular view across a valley. This was a special treat for our 10-year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint!
Beautiful views from hotel. Lovely staff, very professional and helpful. Upgraded our room as we came for our honeymoon. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Lovely and cost-effective stay with tatami floor and futon. Room is small but cozy and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was so relaxing. Also very clean, and when you come be sure to ask the hostess for a western-style bacon and egg sandwich - it was delicious!
The property was in a great location very near a cable car station so not far to go for daily activities. Our room also had lovely views over the mountains! The private onsen was a real treat too. Tammy the owner was absolutely amazing. She had tonnes of knowledge about the area and really did care about us having a lovely stay, she upgraded us to her biggest room seeing as we were on honeymoon and out of the 6 hotel we have stayed in Japan this is the only one that acknowledged and treated us due to it being our honeymoon! Thank you so much!
the hotel is situated on top of SHINAGAWA seaside station so if you are lugging lots of luggage it is very easy for you to get there by rail. The hotel foyer on the 16th floor is STUNNING!!!! you can see for miles. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and work well with English. I had a room on the 19th floor overlooking the Oval Garden and the view was spectacular. I had plenty of space and I had the luxury of being able to have a lovely relaxing bath! if I could have, I would have extended my stay! highly recommend!
