The Todai-ji Temple and Deer Park are a 10-minute stroll away, while Nara Station on the Kintetsu Line is a 7-minute walk. JR Nara Station is 14-minutes away on foot. This accommodation exceeded our expectations. The staff were so friendly and helpful on arrival. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had a great view from our room of the deer on the grounds below us. There is a little kitchen along the hall you can use and a small supermarket next door for groceries as well as a public Onsen downstairs. It had absolutely everything you would need.

Located 1.8 km from Nara Station, 18 km from Iwafune Shrine and 22 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, Guest House Oku provides accommodation situated in Nara. This 2-star guest house offers luggage storage space and bicycle parking. The guest house features family rooms. Yoko is the greatest host! She welcomes you with a warm heart, as soon as you arrive she can put you at easy, ready for a laugh and to establish a genuine connection. We spent a memorable evening with her and another guest. The location is central, in a quite area and close to good a bakery and lovely cafés. We spent one night in the twin room, where I could sleep in the most comfortable bed ever. Soundproof rooms feature a serene interior with a tatami (woven-straw) floor, low furniture and shoji paper screens. Amenities include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge and toiletries. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding, and the rooms come with an all-wooden bathroom. Everything was just perfect when we stayed here! When we arrived at the hotel, we were offered hot towels and lemon and honey tea. A worker took our luggage and brought it to our room. Our room was super spacious and comfortable, and there was even free beer and water in the fridge. The small outdoor bathtub was perfect and easy to use. The upstairs Onsen was small, but we were the only ones there, so it wasn't a problem for us. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were perfectly made and delicious. It was fun to taste so many different dishes and flavors that we otherwise wouldn't have tasted. The whole experience of staying here was just perfect and definitely a highlight of our entire Japan trip. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience a real ryokan experience

Offering public baths, Sarusawaike Yoshidaya is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site.

Each air-conditioned room includes a seating area, a fridge and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bathroom comes with free toiletries. Room was clean and comfortable. We chose this because of the onsen style bath and it was well worth it. Bath was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. Family weer very happy with the room. Location was very good, around 10-12 minute walk from the station and abour 5 minutes to the start of the deer park area. We opted for the set menu dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic. The adjusted menu for children was excellent and we all loved the meal.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Parking is available at extra charge. WiFi is available in all guest rooms. Incredible location in a very quiet part of town. Lots of temples in the direct vicinity. We were able to participate in temple rituals in the morning, and dinner and breakfast were both delicious.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of quiet street, Ryokan Asukasou at the entrancne of Nara park is a recently renovated ryokan located in Nara, 1.8 km from Nara Station. It is set 20 km from Iwafune Shrine and provides a lift. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station.

Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. I really enjoyed everything, it was a great opportunity to get to know Japanese culture! Incredibly friendly staff. The hotel is located near the entrance to the deer park.

Kintesu Nara Station is a 7-minute walk away, and Kofuku-ji Temple is 15 minutes on foot. It's like 5 mins from Nara Station. There are busses that connect that station to Kintetsu Nara. Also, if you need to take a taxi to Kintetsu Nara is less than 1000 yen.
