Tsuta Restaurant serves Japanese dishes in Japanese decor. Restaurant Ivy offers Western foods. Bar Akarenga pours drinks in a relaxed setting. The staff were extremely helpful; and helped us with anything that was asked of them even if it was not related to the hotel. They would not take any tips even though we insisted that what they had done for us went far beyond the call of duty. Definitely a must visit.

Guests can relax in the garden at the property. It was a big house with traditional Japanese garden ! Very quiet and clean. House owner is very nice and welcoming. It’s close to the station which is very convenient for me to visit the other islands close by.

The receptionist Morimoto anticipated my needs with remarkable efficiency and courtesy. As a hotel manager, I am convinced that her admirable sense of service is a valuable asset to this establishment. FYI : it's not a European spa but a Japanese bath.
