We had a warm welcome at this home stay and got everything explained and organised for the duration of our stay. They are so friendly and helpful! The home stay is located in beautiful green surroundings and is very calm and quiet. A comfortable and spacious room and a delicious breakfast. All that within walking distance to town for bars and restaurants and to the main sightseeings.

They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! The room was super clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. They also offered a tuktuk service to Polonnaruwa for a really good price. I was very happy with my stay here.

I love the location, quiet and walking distance to both famous rocks. Nice and spacious and clean room. Tasty breakfast with a homey setting. But my fave was the host. Wasanthi the owner was such a nice, loving, and softspoken lady. She took a really good care of the guest. I very much felt at home in her place. Thank you!

Dinesh, his lovely wife and parents were without doubt a representative of the warmth of Sri Lankan people. It's such a gorgeous setting. We were amongst trees, birds and chipmunks. The cabin was the cleanest accommodation I've stayed in anywhere in the world. Breakfast was outstanding. We chose, she I highly recommend that anyone staying there does this, to have dinner there one night. It was the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. I would go back and I recommend without doubt to anyone who chooses this quant, warm, hospitable guesthouse.

Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!
