The owner did awesome job warmly meeting us, he also woke up very early so we had our breakfast packed by 4:30 am The breakfast itself was just perfect Also the hotel staff organized our transportation to Galle - at a very reasonable price, the driver was professional and the van was very comfortable

Loved the setting of property, the pool was so beautiful surrounded by trees. It was perfect to be able to cool off and chill after a busy safari day. We had visits from monkeys and bats so you really felt surrounded by nature. The host was very kind and helpful, arranging a safari for us and also transport for the next day. We had an amazing safari with Mari and Eshan, they worked so hard all day driving us around trying to find a leopard and eventually we had an amazing sighting of a male leopard. They made the day really enjoyable. We had a lovely dinner at the property and also a huge delicious breakfast.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and barbecue, The Coconut Gardens Hotel & Restaurant is located in Tissamaharama, 900 metres from Tissa Wewa. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. This was our second stay at the coconut gardens, we came a few years ago and both stays have been fantastic, the staff are wonderful the rooms are great and the pool is lovely. The restaurant served very good food and the breakfast was great ! They also organised safaris for us which were amazing and our driver was brilliant. The coconut gardens was one of our favourite stays of our whole trip !

What a special place surrounded by nature. The room (family room) was well proportioned and well furnished. The indoor out door bathroom was quite unique - we loved it! Breakfast was a lovely mix of western and Sri Lankan, I loved the breakfast curry 🥘 A lovely swimming pool overlooking the local rice fields was a welcome treat in the heat of the afternoon. A perfect destination for couples and families a like.

You will not be at the center of all the hustle, but very close to the National park. We stayed the apartment with the open wall so you could hear the animals at night and it's an unique experience. The amenities were great, bed very good and overall our stay was very nice. The breakfast was good. The owner was great, and very helpful with all our needs.
