There is always something to do. We are a family of 4 with two boys under 11. There was never a moment when they were bored. Either learning to ski for the first time or simply play in the snow there was so many fun activities outside. If they chose to remain indoors they could play in the most amazing indoor pool with a water slide or go bowling, or be in the game room where there was a pool table and table tennis. For us parents we always felt safe having the children run around doing their activities and allowed us to spend some quality time together. The food was amazing. The breakfast spread was healthy and fresh and a very large variety. No junk food at all. We actually had dinner in the restaurant every evening and between the A La Carte menu or the Daily menu we had wonderful options. There was a kids buffet every night. It was only a 20 minute walk to Geilo if we needed groceries or shopping. There was also a Husky sleigh ride just a 10 minute walk from the resort. Should also mention that the gym and spa was top notch. It was our first ever ski trip but we are already looking at when we will return to Vestlia again.

Located 50 metres from Geilo Ski Resort and Summer Park, this holiday park is 1.5 km from Geilo town centre. the shower was amazing and it was the perfect amount of space for what we needed.

1909 Sportsbar er en naturlig møteplass for å se sport på storskjerm. Her er det muligheter for jubelscener kombinert med god mat og noe i glasset. Beautiful old hotel with very spacious rooms and very clean. Very friendly staff.

This hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Geilo Train Station. It offers a gym, sauna and pool. Free WiFi and private bathrooms are standard in Highland Lodge’s individually decorated rooms. Nice restaurant in the hotel. We ate there twice. Good breakfast as well. Comfy room. Easy parking. Balcony with table and chairs.

These stylish apartments are situated by the ski slopes of the Hallingdal Valley in Geilo. They offer a flat-screen TV, heated oak floors and modern interiors. Parking is free on site. Location was perfect, included parking and the apartment was fantastic and spacious. We were a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
