The host, Cesar, was kind and helpful. We really appreciated the personal tour of his community - meeting family, picking his little boy up from school. The food was also delicious. This was a highlight of our trip to Peru.

The island seems to be one of the best maintained islands and you can really feel the love & hard work they put into it. The rooms are decorated beautifully! Vidal speaks English and can give a great tour, telling you about his experiences on the islands and not the standard touristic experiences.

Rooms here all offer great views of the highest navigable lake in the world and have been built with wood and totora reef, all decorated in local elements. Rooms with private bathrooms can be found. Towels are provided and there is 24-hour hot water. The family of Uros qhantany lodge has been amazing, they welcomed us perfectly. We decided not to take a classic tourists tour of tikitaca lake, and we booked the night at this lodge on our own. They came to take us with boat and we made our own trip far from tourists arrangements. The lodge was really as pictures, perfect and romantic. The dinner was really nice. The bathroom is really nice and unbelievable for being in the middle of the lake.

Hotel Hacienda Puno is 1 block from the Main Square and the Cathedral and offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. It also has a sky room restaurant with panoramic views of Titicaca lake, which is a 5-minute drive away. Great place to stay in Puno. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Bathroom very nice. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Rooms at Hotel Casona are decorated with wooden furniture and fresh flowers. All are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, and coffee making facilities. Some rooms offer a private jacuzzi tub. My children and me stayed at this hotel two separate days. The rooms are big, very spacious, clean, and the beds are confortable and cozy. In between both days we had the tour of the Lake so we left the luggage at the hotel without extra charges. The hotel is good located.

"A Sunset Experience on the shores of Lake Titicaca". This is a wonderful property on a private peninsula near Puno. Our room had a spectacular view over the lake and Uros floating islands. There is a trail we walked around the property and enjoyed the beautiful flora and fauna of Titikaka lake. In the evening we set next to fireplace and drank wine. Breakfast is excellent with a magnificent view. Make sure you wake up on time( around 5ish) to witness the most beautiful sunrise.There isn’t better place to stay around Puno. I can’t recommend it enough!

Taypikala Hotel Lago boasts recently refurbished Colonial style galleries and a spacious lobby with interior plants, polished parquet floors and elegant cream-coloured sofas. Had a really nice stay here. The staff were great. Not very busy when we were here. Good value. Great location.
