Set 2.2 km from Göranssons Arena, Home Hotel Smedjan in Sandviken features a pool with a temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius, fitness centre and a sauna. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal. Very helpful staff who make nice little gestures like leaving a note in our mother tongue and chocolates in the room after cleaning. The room and the hotel in general were very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Food (breakfast and dinner) were decent and the hotel offers a traditional daily snack (Fika). Location within walking distance from the station in a calm neighborhood with a couple restaurants around it. The gym was a big plus and we used it twice during our stay.
