Also, I like the size of the room, which was big enough for 2 people. The breakfast was amazing and the view over the river was really nice. The location was very good.

Each room at Best Western Edward Hotel feature modern Scandinavian design. All include a flat-screen TV, minibar, in-room safe, along with ironing facilities. Easily best stay I've had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly. Great communication regarding breakfast and holiday hours. I travelled during Christmas and there was a little note and chocolate Santa Clause in my room waiting for me. The room was also nicely decorated with a very cosy feeling. The location was superb; walking distance to everything.

We have both Sandgrund Lars Lerin Art Gallery and Varmland Museum about 10 minutes' walk away. Perfect location for a couple of days in Karlsrad. 5 minutes walks from the train station and the same from the city center. Good beds. Home-made pie for fika in the afternoon and good breakfast.
