The lodge has a really nivce livingroom in which you can relax. We has a super nice room with a view on the lake. Host Marc tiold us a lot about history of the really old lodge! This is an unqique place which we will try to visit again once!

During the summer season, the on-site restaurant offers a variety of dishes. Cozy and chill guesthouse, comfy bed, huge room, excellent service and good food. No tv inside the room, love it!

Ironing facilities and a work desk are provided in each room at Best Western Hotel River C, as well as views of Klarälven River. Some rooms include a kitchenette and an electric kettle. The breakfast was great. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and pointed out parking options. Also, there was free cocoa (hot chocolate) available 24 hrs., which was a nice treat after driving all day in cold, windy, rainy weather. Close to the world-famous rock bridge.

Situated on Västra Torggatan pedestrian street in central Karlstad, Home Hotel Plaza is housed in a stylish 1890s Art Nouveau building. It offers free WiFi and rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV.

Guests enjoy free use of the relax area, which has a gym and sauna. Great accomodation, very reccomended. Arrived by car : there is a private garage in front of the Hotel with a specific tariff for hotel guests; there is also a public open-air parking in the nearby which is cheaper (I used EasyPark app to pay). Perfect room and private bathroom. Great buffet at breakfast, and also the dinner (included in the room price) was great.

Elite Stadshotellet Karlstad’s decorated rooms feature traditional furnishings like bay windows and high ceilings. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are also included. Great location and facilities. We particularly enjoyed the use of the rooftop pool and bar. Excellent breakfasts, comfortable rooms and helpful staff.

Clarion Collection Hotel Drott lies directly opposite Karlstad Central Station. There is free sauna and hot tub access.

We have both Sandgrund Lars Lerin Art Gallery and Varmland Museum about 10 minutes' walk away. Nice location in the city centre near the train station. Got the impression it was an old hotel, but with modern facilities. Nice breakfast, and the dinner buffet, which in my case was included, was really good (the bad thing was that it would be a waste having dinner at some of the nice restaurants in the neighbourhood). Plus for having breakfast from 07.00 in the weekends.

Home Hotel Bilan is housed in a former county prison, 50 metres from Drottninggatan shopping street in Karlstad. It offers a private prison museum and rooms with free WiFi.

In summer, the garden terrace is a popular meeting place for coffee and drinks. A buffet breakfast and a light evening meal are served every day. The relaxation area includes a sauna. Lovely hotel very close to City centre. Staff were extremely attentive, food was delicious and bed very comfortable. Would definitely come back
