View over the lake. Hosts were were very kind! The lodge has a really nivce livingroom in which you can relax. We has a super nice room with a view on the lake. Host Marc tiold us a lot about history of the really old lodge! This is an unqique place which we will try to visit again once!

It’s excellent value! It also has a playroom for kids. The drinks in the hotel is very good price. We had a big room and super comfortable bed , love the bedsheets and pillows. We actually bought same brand after we back home!

This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. Great Hotel at great location. Extremely friendly and helpful team. Parking, several restaurants and bars nearby (1-2 min walk). Breakfast was very good. If you like to visit Karlstad this Hotel is my recommendation.

Clarion Collection Hotel Drott lies directly opposite Karlstad Central Station. There is free sauna and hot tub access. Perfect location for a couple of days in Karlsrad. 5 minutes walks from the train station and the same from the city center. Good beds. Home-made pie for fika in the afternoon and good breakfast.

Home Hotel Bilan is housed in a former county prison, 50 metres from Drottninggatan shopping street in Karlstad. It offers a private prison museum and rooms with free WiFi. The location is very convenient to the station, the room was quiet (those prison walls), and everything was very comfortable. Best of all, the breakfast and dinner provided as half board were totally delicious and substantial and served on a restaurant-style dining room.

Lovely and cosy stylish bedroom and the little kitchen corner. The owner was very kind and helpful, giving advice for sightseeing and recommendations for local restaurants. Great breakfast in the room, especially the locally baked bread was memorable. Recommend warmly!
