Galicia Nueva Castle Hotel is situated in Halič and offers luxurious accommodation with a wellness centre, free parking and free WiFi. Pets can be accommodated only in some rooms upon a prior request.... The castle with its surroundings was a sight to be seen, a very atmospheric and memorable place. Inside it was clean and the room was spacy. We had a two storey tower room, and there were views to four directions through the windows. The staff was friendly. The restaurant's food was great. The breakfast was good but not the vastest of selection.

The room itself was spacious, but there is also a large shared living area and kitchen, plus outdoor terrace for communal use and the garden area. There’s coffee and beer available for a small fee and a large fridge freezer for guest use. Private off-road parking spaces available right outside. It’s an easy 20 minute walk along a forest path to the edge of the old-town. Considerably more strenuous uphill on the way back. The owner is nearby should queries or issues arise. Wish we had time to stay for a week and really enjoy the lovely surroundings, the nearby lake, the views and the fabulous night sky. Highly recommended.

Travelled with some English friends all around Slovakia and this property has been THE BEST out of all of them. Stunning building, amazing, friendly staff, kitchen had EVERYTHING you could wish for. Beautiful furniture, old beams, lovely wooden floors, quiet street, comfy sofa, comfy beds. You name it, they have it!

Horský Hotel Srdiečko offers its services and a unique mountain atmosphere since 1958. With a perfect location on the southern slope of the mountain, the hotel offers beutiful views and a comfortable ski base. Although we do not ski, we only do hiking, we enjoyed our stay a lot! We received great ideas fitted to the weather conditions for family outings. Hotel staff are exceptional. We stayed for the New Year’s Eve celebration, which was super fun, well organised and by the way, dog friendly. Everyone is kind, helpful and hard working.
