Staff were extremely nice and helpful! The vibe of the hotel is very chill. There are some heart warming messages everywhere. The hot spring at the balcony was big that there was enough for two people to enjoy together, listening to the river sound. They also provided fresh milk from Taitung and homemade soy milk for breakfast. Amazing experience and will definitely come back if I visit Taitung again. ;)

It’s up a short gravel road (50m) to a cement road up to the guesthouse. Quiet surroundings with a lovely rose garden and guava trees.

Taitung Forest Park is 4.5 km from the guest house and Liyushan Park is 4.6 km away. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated (we stayed in the blue room). We liked its high ceiling and the big balcony. The residence is not close to downtown but it wasn't too bad because we knew how to take the buses to travel around. The owner was friendly and nice. He bought breakfast every morning, which was just a very simple meal but tasty (too bad that there wasn't any fresh coffee provided). Overall, it was a very quiet and pleasant stay.

Ikegami Dapo Moutain Bed and Breakfast is located in Chishang and features a pool with a view and mountain views. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

Guests can also relax in the garden. Ikegami Dapo Inn was one of our favourite stays in Taiwan. We chose this B&B as our second stop in a three day bike tour from Hualien to Taitung. It exceeded our expectations. The location (view) was absolutely stunning, the owner was very kind and welcoming and the room was spacious, comfortable and private. Breakfast was fantastic and we loved having the dogs around. The owner even invited us for a cup of tea in the evening, together with his son and daughter-in-law. We hope to return one day, because this was a slice of paradise in Taiwan.
