The vibe of the hotel is very chill. There are some heart warming messages everywhere. The hot spring at the balcony was big that there was enough for two people to enjoy together, listening to the river sound. They also provided fresh milk from Taitung and homemade soy milk for breakfast. Amazing experience and will definitely come back if I visit Taitung again. ;)

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated (we stayed in the blue room). We liked its high ceiling and the big balcony. The residence is not close to downtown but it wasn't too bad because we knew how to take the buses to travel around. The owner was friendly and nice. He bought breakfast every morning, which was just a very simple meal but tasty (too bad that there wasn't any fresh coffee provided). Overall, it was a very quiet and pleasant stay.

Mr Zhen and his family are simply the loveliest people you could hope to meet. Very kind and welcoming, they could teach anyone a thing or two about hospitality. The breakfast Mrs Zhen made was incredible. One of the best meals I've ever had anywhere. In our 4 weeks of travel in Taiwan and Japan this was hands down the best place.
