Located in a historical villa, this property is set just 50 metres from the Uzhgorod Castle and offers a wine cellar with tasting sessions. Absolutely loved my stay at Villa "Pi". It was located next to the town's castle, about a 5 minute walk from the center. Off the cobblestone streets, entire into the villa's courtyard via a green door and climb into the villa which has beautiful views over the city. The villa was very quiet and peaceful, beautifully furnished with a vineyard decor (I believe they do wine tastings, etc.). Breakfast is in the wine cave. The room was very spacious and had all accommodations needed. There are a few rooms around the villa to just sit and read - I only wish I had not been there for work and could have taken advantage of just doing that very thing. My stay was made absolutely complete by Svetlana, a new staff member who was just the sweetest and kindest person you will meet!

Featuring a spa area with a sauna, this classic-style hotel is situated in the Carpathian Mountains. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, and 3 ski lifts can be found within a 2-minute walk. First of all, the general vibe of the hotel was absolutely amazing, with the general organization of the hotel being perfect for a relaxing stay, where you don't think about anything except the relaxation. The amenities - especially chany (traditional regional hot tubs) and banya (stream-side spa with steam you can adjust yourself) - were amazing, just as the massage. The additional cost for them was 100% worth the price. Moreover, the hotel's restaurant is great and is open pretty much continuous. Amazing tasty local food, great selection of wines and drinks, and a good choice of dishes for vegetarians. The hotel's location is a perfect spot for several days worth of hikes in the neighbouring mountains.
