Guests can play tennis or relax in the hot tub. The property also features a children’s playground and tropical garden. We loved the decor and ambience over all.. The kitchen/ living room areas, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and exceptionally neat. We enjoyed the sit-outs as well... Kids loved the food trucks and the pool. Loved waking up to the roosters. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Each bright and spacious apartment at Aston at Poipu Kai is furnished with a private patio and a washer and dryer. The kitchen is complete with an oven, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. Guests can use DVD movie rentals. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

Each accommodation at this resort includes free WiFi. Featuring shops and dining opportunities, Poipu Shopping Village is right across the street from the property. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Yes, it was expensive but you could see the ocean - just! We had a great week and made friends with the local chickens!

Surrounded by tropical gardens and offering direct beach access, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beach Boy features spacious condo-style accommodations along with on-site spa services and dining. It also features an outdoor swimming pool with a children's area as well as an oceanfront hot tub. Check-in and parking was easy. The hotel is right at the beach and our 2nd floor apartment was the third away from the ocean but had a good sea view and one could hear the waves (as well as chicken, as Kauai is the Garden and Chicken Island of Hawaii - they are simply everywhere). The big pool area was very nice and well-maintained. The appartment was sufficiently equipped for preparing and eating food in the apartment. The airport is not far but beware of the rush hour on workdays - in the morning to Lihue and in the afternoon from Lihue. All attractions are easy to reach by car and/or a bit of hiking but depening on traffic, you better plan a day trip if you are going all north (Tunnels Beach, etc.) or south (especially Waimea Canyon). The shopping center next door is convenient and supermarkets are not far away.
