I loved the property. It was beautifully decorated. And Minda the host was so attentive by providing brownies and rusks. The restaurant on sight was excellent with everything being made from scratch.

Stacey warmly welcomed me to Upper House. I booked months in advance in anticipation of the Clarens Arts Festival. It was a fantastic location and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast was scrumptious and changed daily. Plenty of hot water for showering. The TV had all of the DSTV channels. Mini-fridge available in the room as well. There was a space heater and electric blankets to keep warm with at night. Stacey and the staff were so helpful in directing me to Clarens from my start location and helped transport me to the correct location on the road for taxis on my way out of town heading towards Lesotho. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and ensured I enjoyed my stay. Would absolutely stay again, Clarens is worth revisiting!
