The staff is very helpful, the thermal bath available in the hotel is very nice, the room was spacious and cozy, with a window outlooking the mountains. We also liked that the hotel encourages guests to choose eco-cleaning of rooms (without sheets replacements etc) by gifting soft drinks coins for the choice. We find full daily cleaning unnecessary and not environmentally friendly, so we appreciate the gesture.

The car park is perfect, with plenty of parking spaces. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you drive and a value-for-money choice.

JR Kamisuwa Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. I had a great time at the Route-Inn! It was kind of like my two spa days with the Onsen that can be used, calming Suwa and the great breakfast that was prepared for me. The breakfast buffet was huge and had Western as well as Japanese dishes to choose from. I can really recommend. The room was also comfortable and staying only in hostels the nights before it felt like a dream. The WiFi was also fast. I will definitivetly come back!

Next morning planning to leave the luggage and visit more about the city was told there is no staff on site before 3pm if I want to pickup my luggage before 3pm, considering my train time okay to pickup after three pm actually went about 230pm already got staff so pick up my luggage and got train on time
