Nice and comfortable room, great breakfast with wide range of food, from traditional Japanese to western food.
The staff was extremely friendly! The breakfast was very delicious and fresh, I really liked the Japanese options. It was possible to walk to the hotel from the main station in less than 10 minutes. The garden and castle the also not far. Many restaurants nearby. The room had everything that was needed. I loved the ceramics exhibits in the lobby and on each floor. The area is famous for pottery, and this is valued at Kokura hotel. I hope to stay there again! Thank you.
In a good location for walking to all of the areas. The hotel backs onto a covered walkway area with lots of bars & restaurants. The rooms were a good size for Japanese standards and were clean.
Great location, just opposite the main train station, Breakfast was amazing, Good Japanese breakfast, with at least 5 hot items, Soups + come croissants and breads. IT would have been good to have labels on the items so we know what's the item / what's in it Staff were helpful, Good coin laundry
Very convenient hotel, great value for money. There’s an onsen and Japanese style buffet breakfast included in booking price. Lovely staff, mostly Japanese guests staying here. Will be back.
Good value for a money, a private room with bathroom as well as an included traditional japanese dinner and breakfast worth trying. Walking distance from the train station, convenience stores are nearby.
Staff are friendly and proactive to provide help. A great range of japanese food and drinks and some western styled food are available for breakfast. A wide seaview seen on the balcony. Extra points were given to the opportunity to watch people cycling on the velodrome right next to the hotel. Although it is about 20 minutes walk from Uno port, but shuttle bus is available.
I thought the location was great. 10 minute walk from the station, and right next to an outlet mall as well as a shopping mall. The historical distance was about a 15 minute walk as well. The apartment was clean, with small cute amenities and decorations that let us really experience staying in a standard, small Japanese apartment. There was a washer/dryer, which was convenient to wash our clothes.
Very nice hotel with nice equipment in the room. The team was very nice and helpful. The receptionist Morimoto anticipated my needs with remarkable efficiency and courtesy. As a hotel manager, I am convinced that her admirable sense of service is a valuable asset to this establishment. FYI : it's not a European spa but a Japanese bath.
spacious rooms, especially for Japan! clean, complementary canvas cosmetic bag made locally in the area. billiards table at the front of the hotel was nice. the buffet breakfast was amazing, good assortment of Japanese and western options. the public baths were amazing, had sauna, cold plunge pool, hot bath. great location. nicest hotel we stayed in Japan for our mid range budget.
