The hotel was clean and well-located. Amenities, including cold water, coffee, and tea, were available at reception. We appreciated having a smart TV in the room for watching non-Japanese content before bed. :)
Like other hotels in the APA chain, this is a clean and well equipped place. Self check in was a smooth process. The room is a little small, but if you're used to hotels in big Japanese cities then it's fine. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. It's convenient that there's a Lawson within the hotel. I was a bit worried that we'd have to wait ages for the elevators because there are so many floors, but it was all fine.
The beds were comfortable and the location was amazing, the staff were beautiful, friendly and very accommodating (as has been with all japanese customer service during our stay). I did start reading some of the paraphernalia left in the room by the owner of the chain and it came to my attention that the owner of the company is a far right lunatic and denyer of such atrocities such as the rape of Nanking and other assorted, documented and we'll witnessed war crimes. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Shame for his staff as they were amazing.
The hotel location is excellent for an early morning flight from Kansai airport. It takes only 15-20 minutes by train to get from the hotel to the airport. The rooms are quite small but everything else is great. Given it's located far away from the city center there are three cafes and various budget restaurants in close proximity. The breakfast is good, and there's a cocktail hour from 6pm to 8pm with various local drinks to choose from including sake, japanese whisky and gin.
Traditional style budget Japanese accommodation. Close to Kansai Airport.
PERFECT location, easy to access Nankai(to KIX), Kintetsu(to Nagoya, Nara or Shima), Hanshin(to Kobe) and Osaka subway. PERFECT shopping area, included 2 Don Quijote, Takashimaya and "tons of" duty free stories. PERFECT eating options, both Japanese local cuisine or fast food chains, Asian, Western, even Michelin stars. Big rooms as capsule standard. Lockers for shoes and your room; there're safe near the counter.
The hotel is in an extremely convenient location and definitely worth paying above my usual budget for accommodation for the prime location. The room was more spacious than a normal Japanese hotel room and comfortable for a couple with 2 huge suitcases to still have room to maneuver around the room.
At these prices this hotel is a steal. Excellent location, comfy rooms bigger than expected, shockingly big toilet and bathroom for Japanese budget hotel. And despite being in the city’s nightlife district we never had a problem with street noise. The staff don’t speak English, but are very helpful.
