Wish we could stay one more day. Its a great place and value for money. U get the free public bath during your stay and its not a crowded place. Could tell that theres some history in this place. Looks very old but its well maintance.

It's a wonderful hotel with the most welcoming and helpful staff. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back some day in the future. The food is exceptional and the food alone is worth a stay at this hotel. There is a beautiful, wooden onsen with a great choice of cosmetics. The hotel itself is beautiful too and our room was very big and comfortable. Everything about our stay was relaxing. We made great memories in Azumino.

Matsumoto Jujo had the best hospitable staff that made me feel at home during my stay. they really take their time in explaining things to me, even during my course dinner, which made me learn more things about the city because of the ingredients they used in their dishes. The way they served you never felt transactional; it made me feel at ease with my stay and yearning to go back because of how nice everything was prepared for me.
